The 5 step conversion process
- 1Pass the RYA Powerboat Level 2
Complete your 2 day RYA PB2 with us. You'll receive your international RYA certificate on the day.
- 2Gather your documents
Passport copy, UAE visa page, Emirates ID (front and back), two passport photos with white background, your RYA PB2 certificate and RYA logbook.
- 3We prepare your DMCA application
Our admin team completes the DMCA Marine Craft Driving Licence application on your behalf and books your appointment slot.
- 4Attend the DMCA office (or online)
For pleasure craft up to 12m, most applications are now handled online. If an in person visit is needed, it's a single 15 minute appointment.
- 5Pay the DMCA fee and collect your licence
Government fees are typically AED 500 to 700 depending on validity. Your card licence is usually issued within 5 working days.
