How to Rent a Boat in Dubai Without a Skipper
The three things you need before a charter operator will hand you the keys.
Bareboat charter — renting without a captain — is possible in Dubai but strictly gated.
- A valid RYA Powerboat Level 2 (or equivalent international certificate)
- A UAE DMCA Marine Craft Driving Licence
- A refundable security deposit, typically AED 3,000 to 10,000
